Visibility is one of the most important considerations in sinus surgery; the presence of blood in the operative field is one of the most problematic conditions confronting the surgeon. These unique instruments have been designed to evacuate blood from the surgical site to provide optimal visibility in the most challenging areas of the sinuses, such as the sphenoid sinus and frontal recess.
The suction mushroom punches are designed with the suction at the tip of the instrument, and come with a unique cleaning tool that allows tissue to be removed quickly and safely during surgery. The series of suction picks aids in the dissection of closed cells while evacuating blood, and the malleable suctions can be bent and shaped to fit challenging anatomical constraints.
