Kraus TM MicroCut™ Forceps
Designed in conjunction with Eric Kraus, MD
The Kraus TM MicroCut™ Forceps were designed to cleanly and precisely remove
the epithelial edge of a tympanic membrane perforation without over-enlarging the
existing perforation. These forceps provide a clean, square cut of the epithelial margin
that can then be covered with a perforation patch such as the EpiDisc® Otologic Lamina.
The forceps come in various jaw angles (90°, 45° forward and 45° backward) to
accommodate various perforation locations and angulations. They may also be used for
controlled biopsies or any other maneuver that requires precision cutting or trimming.
Cleanly, precisely removes the epithelial edge of a tympanic
membrane perforation.
